  Zhang Jianhua, director of the National Energy Administration, said that currently, China's economy maintains stable and rapid development. In the coming period, China's energy demand will still maintain rigid growth. We will coordinate energy transformation and security, unswervingly follow a high-quality development path that prioritizes ecology, green and low carbon, accelerate the construction of a new energy system, and carry out all-round international energy cooperation. Promote the construction of a new green, low-carbon and win-win model. China will insist on establishing first and then breaking, and actively and steadily promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. China is willing to work with OPEC and other international energy organizations to deeply participate in the reform of international energy governance and promote the establishment of a fair, just, balanced and inclusive global energy governance system.

  Li Song, China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna, said that China and OPEC members belong to the "Global South." China is willing to work with OPEC to speak out for the "Global South", actively support agendas and initiatives in the energy field that are conducive to promoting international development cooperation and benefit developing countries, and actively promote the implementation of the three major global initiatives.

  OPEC Secretary-General Haitham Gass said it is necessary for us to regularly exchange views on energy issues of common concern at all levels. It not only contributes to the stability of the oil market and safeguards the interests of producers, consumers and the global economy, but also helps all mankind to cope with various challenges in the development of sustainable energy in the future.

  The meeting spoke highly of the progress made in strengthening cooperation between China and OPEC under the framework of the OPEC-China Energy Dialogue.
