The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of two planes belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces to Port Sudan Airport on the Red Sea, carrying specialized medicines provided by the Qatar Fund for Development.

She said in a statement that this comes "as part of the air bridge operated by the State of Qatar, to provide relief to the brotherly Sudanese people as a result of the humanitarian crisis and the difficult conditions they are currently living in due to the continuing fighting."

The statement indicated that Qatar's ambassador to Sudan, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada, affirmed the State of Qatar's permanent support for Sudan and its standing by the Sudanese people, stressing Qatar's firm position on the necessity of preserving Sudan's security, stability, safety and territorial integrity.

For his part, the Federal Minister of Health of the Republic of Sudan expressed his country's appreciation for the ongoing response from the State of Qatar, pointing out that it is gaining great importance, especially after the displacement due to recent developments, according to what was stated in the statement.
