According to the department, the missile was detected in the area of the city of Oserdów, not far from the Ukrainian border, at 4:23 (6:23 Moscow time). The object stayed on Polish territory for 39 seconds.
“It was observed by military radar systems throughout the flight. Today, all necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace have been launched,” the Ministry of Defense reported on X (Twitter).
Earlier, the former commander of the Polish armed forces, General Miroslav Ruzanski, said that the United States would supply Poland with missiles capable of hitting targets in Russia.
