This came in a Hamas statement on Sunday, hours after the occupying Israeli army stormed Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, amid heavy gunfire and violent bombing.
The statement stated, “The occupation is expanding its fascist war against the health sector and hospitals in the Gaza Strip, through its storming of Al-Nasr Hospital in Gaza, its siege of Al-Amal Hospital, and the incursion of its vehicles towards Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, amid intense air strikes, in parallel with the continuation of the Zionist crimes in Al-Shifa Complex.” medical, against defenseless civilians, including the sick and wounded.”
The statement stressed that this "confirms the occupation's insistence on continuing the war of extermination against our people, and attempts to displace them from their land, by destroying all means of life in the Gaza Strip, especially hospitals."
He pointed out that these crimes “violate all international agreements and treaties, and are taking place in full view of the entire world, without anyone taking action, at a time when the international system must rise up to deter this entity and stop its ongoing crimes against our defenseless Palestinian people.”
The movement called on “our nation, our Arab and Islamic depth, and the free people of the world, to take urgent action to support and support our people in the Gaza Strip, by all means and means,” adding that “these fascist crimes will only increase our people’s determination to cling to their land, and our resistance will only remain steadfast in the face of the Zionist machine of terrorism and killing.” Until this aggression is defeated and our people’s aspirations for freedom are fulfilled.”

On February 15, Israeli occupation army forces raided Nasser Hospital in a military operation that lasted 10 days, during which they killed dozens of displaced people, medical personnel, and patients inside the hospital, and arrested hundreds of others. They also bombed and destroyed various buildings and departments in the hospital, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip. .
Since the start of its war on Gaza on October 7, Israeli forces have been targeting medical facilities and hospitals in various areas of the Strip with systematic and continuous attacks, causing the destruction of the health system, an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, and a noticeable deterioration in infrastructure and property.
