  • Tunisia

Tunisians also organized a protest in front of the US Embassy in Tunis, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

Participants in the weekly vigil raised slogans demanding the opening of crossings with the Gaza Strip to bring in medical and food aid during the month of Ramadan. They also condemned what they described as Arab silence and Western support for the Israeli occupation in its aggression against the Gaza Strip.

  • Continuing demonstrations

Yesterday, Saturday, European capitals and cities witnessed huge demonstrations demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and condemning the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian Strip. The most prominent cities that witnessed protests were London, Paris, Berlin, Stuttgart, Milan, and Copenhagen.

In Britain alone, demonstrations took place in 48 locations across the country, led by the capital, London, from which 11 demonstrations were launched alone.

Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, and an unprecedented health and humanitarian catastrophe that led to Israel being brought before the International Criminal Court on charges of committing “genocide.”

Arab and Western cities and capitals witness almost daily mass demonstrations calling for an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and denouncing the daily massacres in the Strip, which has been under siege for more than 17 years.
