China News Service, Guiyang, March 24 (Reporter Zhang Wei) The signing ceremony for the establishment of sister schools in Guigang in 2024 was held on the 24th at Cuiwei Primary School in Nanming District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. Eight primary and secondary schools including Cuiwei Primary School in Nanming District, Guiyang City and schools in Hong Kong "Hold hands" smoothly.

  In order to strengthen educational and cultural exchanges between Guizhou Province and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, improve the level of education opening up in Guizhou Province, and help the high-quality development of education in Guizhou Province, since 2015, the United Front Work Department of the Guizhou Provincial Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, and the Guizhou Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office have worked together to actively Expand resources from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and implement the “Guizhou, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Educational Exchange Action and Sister Schools Plan”. Through the joint efforts of all parties, the establishment of sister schools between Guizhou and schools at all levels and in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan has become an important brand activity for Guizhou’s education opening to the outside world.

  It is understood that 20 schools in Guizhou and Hong Kong have established a long-term and stable friendly exchange relationship through the role of sister schools, learning from each other, making progress and developing together, and benefiting teachers and students in Guizhou and Hong Kong.

  At this signing ceremony, 8 schools, including Hong Kong's Ta Kwu Ling Ling Ying Public School (primary school) and Nanming District Cuiwei Primary School, respectively concluded as sister schools.

  During the event, Lingying Public School in Daguling, Hong Kong, and Cuiwei Primary School in Nanming District, Guiyang City, as representatives of the paired Guigang sister schools, shared the educational characteristics and cooperation vision of their respective schools on the spot.

  The event also held a donation ceremony for "Guizhou, Hong Kong and Macao are in the same class". The Hong Kong-Guizhou Cultural Exchange Fund signed a contract with the Macau China Innovation and Technology Development Promotion Association. Hong Kong school representatives accepted the informatics courses donated by the Macau China Entrepreneurship Association; Nanming District Cuiwei Primary School, Nanming District Dade School, Nanming District Memorial Tower Primary School, and Nanming District Shanshui Middle School took the stage to receive the informatics courses donated by the Macau China Entrepreneurship Association.
