Vladimir Putin announced the decision to approve mourning throughout the country on March 23. The President expressed condolences to everyone who lost relatives and friends. The head of state added that the whole country mourns with them. Putin also stressed that all perpetrators, organizers and customers of the terrorist attack will suffer fair and inevitable punishment.

According to the latest data from the Moscow Region Ministry of Health, 154 people were injured as a result of the terrorist attack. 133 people died, including three children.

On the night of March 24, the department also showed footage of further work at the site of the fire at Crocus City Hall. Heavy equipment arrived at the site to dismantle damaged structures and clear debris, thanks to which rescuers will be able to get inside the building.

On the evening of March 23, the Moscow Department of Health announced that over 4 thousand people came to donor centers to donate blood to victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.

Meanwhile, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to establish the identities of all those who participated in the rescue of people during the terrorist attack in order to award them awards.

“When investigating a criminal case of a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall, special attention should be paid to identifying everyone who participated in providing assistance and saving citizens, for further consideration of the issue of awarding them departmental awards,” the department said in a statement.

A number of Russian carriers have expressed their intention to provide free assistance to victims of the terrorist attack and their loved ones. As follows from the message of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Aeroflot, North Wind, Siberia (S7 Airlines), Ural Airlines, NordStar, Red Wings and Smartavia are ready to organize free flights on their own flights for relatives of the victims and victims.

Russian Railways also stated that they are ready to transport relatives of the injured and deceased to Moscow and from Moscow free of charge.

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry drew attention to the international reaction to the events at Crocus City Hall. “Against the backdrop of a dance on bones organized by Ukrainian propagandists, people from all continents express deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims, wish recovery to the victims, and also fully condemn this terrible terrorist attack against innocent citizens,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

UN Deputy Secretary General, head of the organization's Counter-Terrorism Directorate Vladimir Voronkov said that those who committed the terrorist attack must suffer severe punishment.

“Terrorism has no justification, and the non-humans who committed it must be severely punished. I am shocked by the brutal murder of innocent people by terrorists: children, women, men,” RIA Novosti quotes Voronkov.

He admitted that the events at Crocus City Hall could be discussed at one of the upcoming meetings of the UN Security Council.
