Israeli artillery shelling continued in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, in light of threats to bomb and destroy the complex’s buildings over the heads of the medical teams and those in it, while raids on various areas of the Gaza Strip caused the death of a number of Palestinians.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the death of 3 patients inside the Al-Shifa Complex due to the siege and the occupation forces preventing medicines from reaching it.

He added that doctors, patients, and displaced people from the siege, including children, inside and around Al-Shifa Hospital, are launching a distress call to provide food and medicine and calling on the Red Cross to intervene to evacuate them.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the occupation is detaining about 240 patients, their companions, and 10 medical staff in the Prince Nayef Center in the Shifa Complex, and that it bombed several buildings and burned the arterial department in the complex.

On the sixth day of its storming, the Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabta, said that the Israeli occupation forces killed more than 100 people inside the Shifa Medical Complex.

Al-Thawabta added, in statements to Al-Jazeera early on Saturday, that the occupation forces executed some medical personnel inside the complex.

Palestinian sources also reported renewed clashes between the resistance and the occupation in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex. Al Jazeera's correspondent stated that there was continuous Israeli artillery shelling in the vicinity of the complex.

The government media office in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli army threatened to bomb and destroy the buildings of the Shifa Complex over the heads of the medical teams and those in it.

The government media office said in a statement, "We received testimonies from inside the Al-Shifa Medical Complex indicating that the Israeli occupation army threatened the medical staff inside the hospital buildings and the displaced that it would bomb those buildings and destroy them over their heads, or that they would go out for torture, investigation, and execution."

The office expressed its "strong" denunciation and condemnation of this "organized crime" that the Israeli army continues to commit "with all brutality and vengeance."

Aid martyrs

On the other hand, Al Jazeera's correspondent said that martyrs and wounded were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted Palestinians waiting for aid at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.

Four Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured as a result of the Israeli incursion and bombing on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 5 martyrs, including 4 children, were recovered as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house at dawn on Saturday morning in the Mirage area, north of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli aircraft had targeted a two-story house in this area, which is located between Rafah and Khan Yunis.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that one person was killed and another was seriously injured in an Israeli artillery shelling on Palestinians east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The correspondent said that the occupation forces were firing heavy shells and bullets in the northwestern areas of Khan Yunis Governorate.

He explained that a violent Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, causing the death and injury of a number of Palestinians.

For its part, Palestinian sources said that Israeli occupation aircraft launched raids in the vicinity of the European Hospital in Khan Yunis as well.

Local sources also reported that the occupation forces bombed with artillery northwest of Beit Hanoun and the vicinity of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip and north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that clashes have been taking place since dawn on Saturday between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces near Al-Rimal Clinic on Al-Wahda Street in central Gaza City.

The Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since last October 7, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure.
