According to her, when it all started, they were sitting in the hall in their seats in the fifth row and waiting for the concert to start. There were no musicians yet.

“Five minutes before the start, we suddenly heard dull single pops. It was assumed that some special effects were invented for the musicians to appear on stage. Then the claps became closer and someone nearby shouted: “They’re shooting! Run!” - said the woman.

She added that she and her husband took off and tried to make their way to the stage. Her husband helped her get there and at that moment three people with machine guns entered the hall.

“They shot at everything that moved. From the stage, the husband saw blue smoke filling the hall. And we are like a target in the center of the stage. It felt like they were poking me in the back with the muzzle of a machine gun,” the woman said.

Then she and her husband climbed under the curtain and ran, went outside and at some point changed their running to a walk. Then screams were heard from behind again.

The couple got on the bus, which was at a stop, and then got out and ran to the bridge in Pavshinskaya Poima.

“All this happened very quickly, rapidly. At 19:55 we were still sitting in the hall, and at 20:18 we saw smoke over the Crocus across the bridge,” the woman noted.

Earlier it became known that a 15-year-old teenager who worked as a cloakroom attendant saved more than a hundred people during the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
