[Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Special Line] 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Flower Show opens in Shenzhen

  China News Service, Shenzhen, March 23 (Reporter Cheng Jingwei) The 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Flower Show opened on the 23rd at the main venue of Shenzhen Beacon Hill (Sports) Park, Lianhua Hill Park and the Xiangmi Lake·Four Seasons Flower Valley branch venue. The exhibition area Over 38,000 square meters, 44 gardens of various types.

  This year's flower show uses Delphinium grandis as the theme flower, and red Delphinium grandis is exhibited for the first time. It has six exhibition areas: corporate garden, Bay Area garden, city garden, mini garden, college student garden, and flower show. Showcasing the poetic flowers of the beautiful bay area.

  The Bay Area Garden has 6 exhibition gardens, displaying the advanced landscaping art, horticulture level and unique urban charm of Hong Kong, Macau, Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Shenzhen. Among them, the "Green Fields in the City" exhibition garden shows Hong Kong's urban landscape through a clever combination of plants and water bodies; the "Dancing Bay Area, Friendship Delivery" exhibition garden is inspired by the Macau Sai Van Bridge; the "Bamboo Rhythm and Tea Fragrance" exhibition garden Light bamboo is used to weave the image space of Hengqin.

  The corporate garden gathers the works of designers from five countries including China, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, and Australia, displaying the world's cutting-edge design concepts and gardening skills. Among them, British designer Joe Thompson collaborated with R&D personnel from multiple universities to use AR (augmented reality) technology to create a display garden work "Touch Nature" for the flower show.
