The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli occupation committed new massacres, raising the death toll since the beginning of the war to more than 32,000 martyrs. While battles raged in the vicinity of the Shifa complex, the Al-Quds Brigades said they had sniped a soldier, while the Israeli army announced that 11 soldiers had been wounded.

The Ministry of Health said on Friday evening that the Israeli occupation committed 9 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, which led to the death of 82 Palestinians and the injury of 110 others within 24 hours.

She explained that the number of martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli war rose to 32,70 martyrs, and the number of wounded increased to 74,298 wounded.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the western areas of Gaza City were exposed to continuous artillery bombardment. He had previously reported that 10 Palestinians were martyred in the bombing of a house for the Al-Quqa family, northwest of Gaza City.

The Al Jazeera correspondent said that an Israeli drone killed 3 people with a missile in the Al-Zana area, east of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. He added that the bodies of the three martyrs were transferred to the European Gaza Hospital in the city.

One person was also martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a group of Palestinians west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that 8 Palestinians from one family were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the town of Al-Nasr, northeast of Rafah, at dawn on Friday.

Siege of Al-Shifa Complex

On the other hand, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the death of 3 patients inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, due to the siege and the prevention of medicines from reaching the complex, which is being attacked and surrounded by occupation forces for the fifth day in a row.

The reporter added that the occupation forces are blowing up and burning homes on the northern side, and are also bombing the compound's surroundings continuously, as columns of smoke rise from the area.

The families of the sick and wounded in the complex launched appeals to transfer them to other hospitals after leaving them without treatment or care for days.

For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation is detaining about 240 patients, their companions, and 10 health personnel at the Prince Nayef Center in the Al-Shifa Complex, and the forces also arrested dozens of health personnel from inside the complex.

The ministry added that the occupation bombed several buildings and set fire to the arterial department of the medical complex.

Fierce battles

Meanwhile, battles are taking place between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation army in the vicinity of the Shifa complex.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that its fighters sniped one of the occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the compound.

She added that she bombarded a gathering of occupation forces in the area with a barrage of mortar shells.

On the other hand, the Israeli army announced that 11 of its soldiers and officers were injured in the battles taking place in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

This brings the announced number of Israeli soldiers who have been injured since the beginning of the war to 3,109, of whom 1,497 were injured during the ground attack on Gaza.

The Israeli army had confirmed that its military operation in the Shifa complex was continuing, noting that it was taking place with the participation of the 401st Brigade and the Marine Commando Unit, under the command of the 162nd Division.

The army said it killed 140 of those it described as saboteurs, and announced the arrest of 600 people during the operation.
