“The last location of the miners before the rock breakthrough was recorded at a depth of 147 m,” the agency’s source said.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations previously reported that rescuers plan to reach the possible location of miners in the Pioneer mine in the coming days.

On March 22, the third drilling rig will be lowered into the mine.

Earlier, a special board of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in Blagoveshchensk, delivering additional forces there to work at the Pioneer mine, where 13 miners were trapped after a collapse.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin instructed to take all measures to save people.
