“Switzerland is shocked by the attack, which left so many people injured, and expresses its deepest condolences to the families. The Foreign Ministry is closely monitoring the development of the situation,” the Swiss Foreign Ministry said.

Spain also said it was “shocked by the news from Russia.”

“We express our solidarity with the victims, their families and the Russian people. Spain condemns any form of violence,” the statement said.

At least 40 people died as a result of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, the Russian FSB reports. More than 100 people were injured.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was immediately informed about the shooting at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk.
