The girl explained to RT that she was working on the second floor when she heard shooting. Together with a colleague, they ran for safety and ended up in the hall.

“The whole mass of people ran behind the stage, and we lay down in a ball among the rows. A man shouted: “It’s time to run!” And we started going up the hall,” she noted.

Then the girl and several other people went down to the minus first floor. There they found a room (probably where workers lived). They barricaded themselves in it and began to wait for rescuers. But gradually smoke from the fire began to enter there. They were lucky that the room had a bathroom. They plugged the ventilation and doors with wet sheets.

There was another Crocus employee in the room with them. He had a relationship with a fellow engineer who was on the street. He gave them information about what was happening. As a result, the Ministry of Emergency Situations came for the girl and the others.

At least 40 people died as a result of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, the Russian FSB reports. More than 100 people were injured.
