A deputy from the Liot group has tabled a bill aimed at putting an end to hair discrimination in the world of work. Marine, a Europe 1 listener who was a victim of this in the past, and a lawyer, discussed it in the program “Pascal Praud et vous”, every day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Listen to the excerpt again. At work, Marine suffered comments about her textured hair. This Europe 1 listener explains that she forced herself to straighten them to no longer be afraid of the gaze of others. In the show

Pascal Praud et vous

, she debates with Maître Yves Toledano, lawyer in Paris, on the necessity or not of a new anti-hair discrimination law as proposed by a Liot deputy.

“Today, it is important because this law will allow all people who do not dare to wear their hair natural to do so. It will allow them to be protected,” she argues, while the lawyer is more reluctant. “In France, we already have a multitude of codes, we have tens of thousands of laws, and within them, we can bring in this discrimination,” he says on Europe 1.
