The Grand Mufti of Libya condemns the demand for foreign restaurants that support the occupation (social networking sites)

The Mufti of Libya, Sheikh Al-Sadiq Al-Gharyani, said yesterday, Thursday, that paying money to perform Umrah more than once is a waste of money that should be paid to the people of Gaza and supporting the Palestinian resistance, stressing that supporting the people of Gaza is a priority.

He stressed that Muslims should not believe that crowding to perform Umrah is the highest level of worship while the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip are subjected to annihilation, because it is considered “negligence and incorrect behavior,” according to him.

Sheikh Al-Gharyani also condemned - in a video on the X platform - the demand for foreign restaurants that support the Israeli occupation, saying that the money paid to them goes to killing and starving the residents of Gaza.

Al-Gharyani warned against being led by what he described as Israeli and American claims of establishing a sea crossing for Gaza relief, describing it as a “Zionist invention.”

The Sheikh addressed the Muslims, asking whether it was reasonable for the Muslims to hand over the aid they could provide to the people of Gaza to the United States by purchasing its goods, so that it would provide weapons to Israel.

The Mufti said that providing relief to the residents of Gaza does not require convoys and crossings, but rather requires a ceasefire.
