Frédéric Mitterrand died this Thursday at the age of 76 from “aggressive cancer”. Political figures pay tribute to his memory and to what he did on television, in the cinema but also during his time at the Ministry of Culture, between 2009 and 2012, under the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy. 

Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to the former Minister of Culture Frédéric Mitterrand, who died on Thursday, saluting a man who "lived a thousand existences, all woven with a common thread: culture for everyone".
