King Charles III is “proud of the courage” shown by Princess Kate, the wife of his eldest son William, in revealing that she suffers from cancer, Buckingham Palace said on Friday. “Her Majesty is very proud of Catherine for the courage she showed in speaking as she did,” said a palace spokesperson, adding that the sovereign had “remained in close contact with her daughter-in-law beloved throughout these last weeks.
