Earlier, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the €5 billion allocated by the EU to Ukraine could be used to compensate for part of the payment for the supply of shells as part of the Czech initiative.
Portugal will also allocate €100 million to the Czech Republic’s initiative to provide Ukraine with shells.
