According to her, she gave her husband a concert ticket for his birthday. They were sitting in the eighth row of the stalls. At first, the woman heard sounds similar to firecrackers, but later it became clear that these were machine gun shots.

“It seemed as if not just one machine gun [was shooting], but several machine gun bursts. Then people started shouting: “Close the doors.” Where they [the terrorists] are coming from, apparently. We quickly ran to the exit. We ran away very quickly. We didn’t stand where the people were, but through the middle of the hall,” she said.

She noted that already on stage she realized that they had burst into the hall and that it was not from above, but where the stalls were.

“The amphitheater, the stalls, these exits. They entered the hall and started shooting in the hall, but we had already run out. Behind the stage there is a direct exit to the street. Someone opened the door, maybe security. And when we were driving, there were people lying at the exits. I don’t know whether they were dead or alive, but someone was moving. Some were just lying there,” Tatyana pointed out.

The woman added that people ran out into the street undressed, she swallowed cold air and became hoarse.

At least 40 people died as a result of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, the Russian FSB reports. More than 100 people were injured.
