Xia Linmao pointed out that Beijing is vigorously promoting the construction of affordable housing, the construction of "both leisure and emergency" public infrastructure and the transformation of urban villages in accordance with the unified deployment requirements of the central government, and accelerating the construction of a new real estate model.
This year, Beijing will raise funds for the construction of 70,000 affordable rental housing units and complete the construction of 80,000 affordable housing units of various types. In particular, it will increase the supply of "one bed" and "one room" products and focus on solving problems for new citizens. , young people and frontline workers’ housing issues.
“In terms of the location of these housing units, we give priority to areas around subway stations, industrial parks where they work and live, and areas with better supporting facilities.”
