The mutual bombing between Hezbollah and the Israeli army has not stopped since last October (Al Jazeera)

The occupation army announced - today, Monday - that its fighters bombed a military building and a reconnaissance site belonging to Hezbollah in Ramieh, southern Lebanon, last night, while sirens sounded a short while ago in areas of northern Israel.

The Lebanese News Agency (WAL) reported - this morning - that Israeli warplanes launched a raid targeting a house on the outskirts of the town of Ramieh in Nabatieh Governorate, south of the country.

WAL explained that the raid caused material damage to homes and farms adjacent to the targeted house, and coincided with artillery shelling targeting the outskirts of the towns of Ramiya and Aita al-Shaab in the south of the country.

The agency said that Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew, throughout the night and until Monday morning, over villages in the Tire and Bint Jbeil districts in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah announced that it launched 8 attacks on Israeli positions off the border, while Israeli media confirmed that a battalion commander survived a Lebanese missile attack.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that a senior officer survived after Hezbollah fired a guided missile at midnight against a military vehicle on the northern border. It explained that the battalion commander was not injured, but the targeted military vehicle was severely damaged.

Israeli Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy said that his forces were determined to harm Hezbollah members in Lebanon.

He added that the army will not return the residents of the north to their homes until security and stability are fully established there.

Hezbollah announced - earlier today - that it targeted with missile weapons the Al-Samaqa site in the Kafr Shuba hills, and bombarded with artillery shells Israeli vehicles as they entered the Al-Malikiyah site.

The Lebanese party said that it bombed with missile weapons two gatherings of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Mitat barracks and opposite the town of Wazzani.

The party also announced the bombing of the Al-Marj and Al-Matula sites, and the targeting of spy equipment in the Al-Asi site.

The border areas in southern Lebanon have witnessed security tension and an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and elements of the resistance in Lebanon, since October 8, 2023, after Israel declared war on the Gaza Strip.
