Starting from the evening of Sunday, March 17, in Lithuania, where part of the FBK asset is located, consultations and discussions are taking place on the reasons for the failed implementation of the opposition’s strategy in the presidential elections in Russia, Serukanov said.

“There was a big debriefing at the Vilnius headquarters of the FBK: at an internal meeting they recognized an absolute failure.

There was a crew waiting in line in the regions at noon.

During this so-called protest action, they were counting on some kind of resonance, on the aggravation of the situation in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

But nothing came of it,” the expert noted.

According to RT’s interlocutor, failures in mobilizing assets hit Leonid Volkov***, who was responsible for this sector of work, hard.

“Almost no one came out in the regions.

And this greatly affected the reputation of Volkov, who was always responsible for the regional and organizational bloc.

At the same time, Volkov recently reported on thousands of activists in underground headquarters and asked for additional funding for the development of the underground network.

But in the end it all turned out to be a fiction.

Now he is trying to blame the failures on the former regional coordinators,” Serukanov explained.

During the presidential elections held in Russia on March 15-17, the current head of state, Vladimir Putin, won.
