“According to the information we have, this looks like a provocation to maintain tension and fear among people,” Sandu said at a press conference, quoted by TASS.

The Ministry of State Security of Transnistria previously reported that on March 17, a military unit was attacked by a kamikaze drone, an explosion and fire occurred at the facility, but no one was killed.

As it became known later, the old non-working helicopter burned down as a result of the attack; this was caught on video.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called the incident an attempt to undermine the situation in Transnistria and sow panic among voters in the Russian presidential elections.
