According to Saldo, despite the shelling of the Kherson region, citizens came to the polling stations and actively voted.
In response, Putin thanked the electoral commission and election organizers, as well as the residents of the Kherson region for their courage and firmness.
Earlier, Saldo said that in Brilyovka two people were injured due to shelling of a polling station by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
