Pushilin expressed this opinion on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

He recalled that according to the Russian Constitution, the territory of the DPR runs along the administrative borders of the former Donetsk region.

Thus, Pushilin added, a sanitary zone must be established on the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region.

“But again, taking into account the weapons that the enemy will have at that time, taking into account the range,” he concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if Russia establishes a sanitary zone in Ukraine, it will be difficult to overcome it with the weapons in service with the Ukrainian army.
