Earlier, a representative of the White House National Security Council said that Washington does not consider the elections held in Russia “neither free nor fair.”

Peskov emphasized that Moscow categorically disagrees with such an assessment, adding that no other judgment should be expected from Washington.

“We strongly disagree with them, and this is probably not an opinion that we are willing to listen to and that is important to us these days,” he said.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that he would complain to the US authorities about insufficient security for the diplomatic mission during the Russian presidential elections.
