“More than 12 million cyber attacks since the beginning of the presidential election campaign,” Pamfilova said during a press conference.

According to her, there were 150 times more DDoS attacks than usual. 

She noted that the degree of external influence on the elections was unprecedented. 

Pamfilova clarified that since March 15, since the beginning of the three-day voting, over 19.8 thousand potentially dangerous impacts of high and medium severity on the website of the Russian Central Election Commission have been recorded.

According to her, “the system worked properly.”

The head of the Central Election Commission also stated that the turnout for the Russian presidential elections was 77.44%.
