“In the city of Almetyevsk, as a result of snow falling from the canopy of a balcony on the tenth floor of a residential building on Aminova Street, a five-month-old child was injured, whom his mother brought in a stroller to the clinic located on the first floor,” the Investigative Committee said.
The child was hospitalized with a closed head injury.
A 33-year-old passerby was also injured.
A criminal case has been initiated under articles of causing grievous bodily harm and providing services that do not meet safety requirements.
The suspect, a representative of the contractor responsible for snow removal, was detained.
Earlier, in the Drozhzhanovsky district of Tatarstan, a 16-year-old girl was seriously injured when snow fell from a school roof.
