China has been Brazil's largest trading partner, Brazil's largest export market and source of trade surplus for 15 consecutive years.

Brazil is also China's largest trading partner in Latin America.

Alckmin used a set of data to illustrate that bilateral trade development is showing a positive trend.

Talking about Brazil's "re-industrialization" plan, Alckmin listed a series of Brazil-China cooperation projects, especially Chinese new energy vehicle companies investing in and setting up factories in Sao Paulo state, Bahia state and other places.

He believes that China's advanced electric vehicles and green development technology represent the direction of technological innovation and sustainable development, which not only drives urban development, but also promotes the modernization of Brazil's industrial chain.

Alckmin said that the "re-industrialization" plan has a wide range of investment opportunities, covering infrastructure construction such as ports, airports, and railways, clean energy, and medical complex construction. For this, "investment and infrastructure capabilities from China are very important."

"Brazil is a country that is ready to achieve stronger growth." Alckmin said that Brazil has a vast territory, rich reserves of petroleum and nonferrous metals, developed agriculture, and advanced aircraft manufacturing. It is developing emerging manufacturing industries such as clean energy, health, and environmental protection. "As a large country with more than 200 million residents, Brazil has the scale and size to do so. It is not at war with any country. What we need is to reach more trade agreements."

Talking about the recent addition of 38 Brazilian meat processing plants approved by the General Administration of Customs of China to export to China, Alcmin said that this policy will further consolidate Brazil’s position in the Chinese market and inject new impetus into the improvement and upgrading of bilateral trade.

He also said that Brazil's expansion of meat exports to China will not only create more jobs and more income, but also provide high-quality food for the Chinese people. "Bilateral trade is a win-win situation."

In November this year, the G20 leaders’ summit will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In June this year, the China-Brazil High-Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee (COSBAN) meeting will be held in Beijing.

Alckmin said he was looking forward to this.

“In the fields of trade, agriculture and finance, our Chinese partners are very important.” He said, in particular, COSBAN has been continuously promoted for 20 years and has become the main coordination mechanism for bilateral relations. He hopes to further promote the cooperation between Brazil and China in trade, investment and technology. Pragmatic cooperation in innovation and other fields.

Alckmin said that Brazil and China are the largest developing countries and important emerging markets in both hemispheres. “The two countries have consistent development concepts and pragmatic cooperation with complementary supplies. This partnership will continue to develop for the benefit of the two peoples.” ( over)
