The head of the department, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, stated this in parliament.

As Sputnik Armenia clarifies, consultations will soon be held in Moscow within the framework of a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of mass communications, concluded in 2020.

The purpose of the agreement is to exclude broadcasts from both countries that would constitute interference in the internal affairs or insults to the state and people of another country.

“Based on political correctness, I will refrain from voicing details.

I just want to assure that all decisions of the ministry are based on the dignity of our people,” said Hayrapetyan.

He did not name the date of the upcoming consultations, emphasizing that they will be held in the near future.
