He said that Chinese companies are welcome to invest in Angola and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development for both parties.

  Lourenco said that over the past 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Angola and China, the friendly cooperative relations between the two countries have continued to develop.

In recent years, many Chinese companies have participated in project construction and industrial development in Angola.

Angola has huge development potential. This visit to Shandong is to experience first-hand the development strength of Chinese enterprises and to cooperate with more Chinese enterprises.

  On the 16th, Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, met with Lourenço in Jinan and said that in recent years, Shandong has deeply implemented the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative, comprehensively deepened cooperation with Angola in various fields, promoted agricultural trade, industrial project construction, and friendly relations. Exchanges and other cooperation have achieved good results.

Angola has obvious geographical advantages and superior resource endowments. It is highly complementary to Shandong's economy and has broad prospects for cooperation between the two parties.

  At Shandong Qihe Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Lourenco visited the company's intelligent mushrooming shed to learn about the cultivation process and intelligent planting technology of shiitake mushrooms.

At the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Lourenco learned more about agricultural planting technology.

  In addition, Lourenco also visited Lutai Textile Co., Ltd. and Shandong Xinhua Medical Equipment Co., Ltd.

  It is reported that in 2023, Shandong Province’s trade volume with Angola will be US$1.06 billion.

Among them, exports were US$610 million and imports were US$450 million.
