Venezuelan President Maduro congratulated Putin on his election victory

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry extended congratulations to Maduro, writes TASS.

“The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, on behalf of the Venezuelan people, congratulates President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and his political movement on their triumph in the elections and his re-election as President of the Russian Federation for the period 2024-2030,” the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that Putin received 87.26% of the votes based on the results of processing 60.09% of the protocols.

Nikolai Kharitonov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation receives 4.18% of the votes.

Vladislav Davankov from New People received 3.99% of the votes, and LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky - 3.12%.

Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova said that the presidential elections in Russia were held very well.
