The ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip left thousands of children martyred, among them the six-year-old girl Hind Rajab, who drowned in her own blood inside her relatives’ car as a result of Israeli bullets that did not have mercy on her.
In the daily evening segment about the martyrs of the aggression on Gaza, Al Jazeera highlighted the story of the little girl Hind, who called her mother asking for help and pleading with her to come and take her from inside the car that was subject to continuous fire from Israeli tank machine guns.
Hind did not realize - while she was innocently calling for her mother's help - that the matter was impossible, according to Al-Jazeera broadcaster Iman Ayyad, after the occupation army crossed all red lines in the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since last October 7.
After that, contact between Hind and her mother was cut off, and 12 days passed, “and it is not known how the child lived alone, being traversed day and night by the cold and hunger of winter,” as the Palestinian Red Crescent team tried to help her, but there was no news from them either.
On February 10, after the occupation forces withdrew from the area where Hind and her relatives’ car was parked, the body of the little girl and 5 members of her family were found, 12 days after losing contact with her, after Israeli occupation tanks surrounded her inside a vehicle and killed members of her relatives. Near a gas station in Gaza.
The ambulance team that came to her rescue was also found a few meters away, as “the one seeking help and the one helping him were killed.”
The Palestinian News and Information Agency (Wafa) reported that day that the family of the martyr Hind found her body and the bodies of those who were in the vehicle, which was surrounded by occupation tanks in the vicinity of the “Finance Roundabout” in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, where members of her family were immediately martyred, while she and her daughter remained... Her uncle Lian (14 years old) has been alive for some time.
It is noteworthy that the toll of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 31,645 martyrs and 73,676 injuries, most of them children and women, since October 7, 2023, according to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
