There is a large crowd in front of the

Russian

embassy in Lithuania.

In line, some are there to vote for stability, but others have chosen the ballot to show their opposition.

Even though they know that in the end, Vladimir Putin will win the elections.

There is also a lot of public in front of this embassy: Russians who believe that boycott is the only possible option to show their disagreement.

And Lithuanians who are there to support the real Russia as they say the opposition.

There are also Lithuanians who are there to take a closer look at who these Russians are who live in their country.

There are more than 15,000 of them. Some approach them asking if they speak Lithuanian.

The police forces are especially very visible.

The border police also pass through the crowds to check whether Russian citizens are in good standing and legally residing in the territory.
