The Russian President, who arrived at the election headquarters in Gostiny Dvor, was asked a question by journalist Kir Simmons.
“In some countries, such as yours, is it democratic to use administrative resources to attack one of the candidates for President of the United States?
Using the courts as well?... Using administrative resources, the judicial system, well, this has become simply ridiculous!
And a disgrace to the whole world for the United States and for your “democratic”, so-called in quotation marks, system,” said Vladimir Putin.
The President added that he has every reason to believe that no democracy is observed today, at least during the election processes in some Western countries, including the United States.
“Therefore, accept the return puck,” said the head of state.
The Russian President previously noted that the behavior of US presidential candidates is a feature of American political culture.
