Tonight, after 9:00 p.m., prison officials lifted the blockade of access to the Quatre Camins and Joves centers, both in Roca del Vallès (Barcelona), and to the women's center in Wad Ras, in Barcelona, an action that they leave on hold until Monday, as confirmed by union sources and the Department of Justice.
The blocking of access to the centers has affected some 1,200 prisoners this Saturday, who have had to remain in their cells without following the usual rhythm of the prison.
The action of the officials has been the continuation of the
protests
that began on Wednesday and reached their zenith yesterday, Friday, when access to all Catalan prisons was blocked, with 5,000 inmates in their cells, in protest of the death on Wednesday at the hands of of a prisoner of the cook of the Mas d'Enric prison, in El Catllar (Tarragona).
Officials have agreed
to lift the blockade this weekend
