Culinary walk – Fabrice Mignot – Le burgou

Ingredients :

4 medium sized eggs

70 g of flour

60 g chestnut flour

275 g of chestnut cream

120 g soft butter

3 tablespoons of sugar

3 tablespoons of almond powder

1 tablespoon of honey

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Instructions :

In a bowl, mix the soft butter with the sugar and beat until creamy.

Add the eggs one by one while continuing to beat.

Incorporate the flour, chestnut flour and baking powder.

Then add the chestnut cream, almond powder, honey and vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into a previously buttered and floured cake mold.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 30 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.

Let cool before unmolding.
