The Houthis continued to target ships in the Gulf of Aden in response to the Israeli war on Gaza (French)

The British maritime security company Ambrey said - on Sunday - that it had received a report about the kidnapping of a Yemeni fishing boat in the Gulf of Aden, and while Washington continued its operations, intercepting marches and attacking Yemeni targets, the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) carried out a military maneuver.

Ambre added, "The crew on board the fishing boat got off the ship in Bosaso, Somalia, and one of the crew members was shot."

On the other hand, the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority said that it had received a report about an incident 85 nautical miles east of Aden, in Yemen.

The authority added that the captain of a commercial ship reported an explosion near his ship east of Aden.

It said that no damage was reported to the ship or the crew was injured.

The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority had announced - in a previous statement on Sunday - an attempted missile attack on a liquefied gas tanker flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, about 85 nautical miles southeast of Aden.

A missile fell into the water 200 meters from the ship, according to Bloomberg News.

American operations and Houthi maneuvers

On the other hand, the US Central Command said that its forces succeeded in intercepting and destroying a drone, while another likely fell into the Red Sea, noting that there were no reports of damage or injuries in the vicinity of the incident.

The US Central Command also indicated that 5 drone boats and a drone were destroyed yesterday, Saturday, in Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.

Earlier, media outlets affiliated with the Ansar Allah group reported that what they described as the American-British aggression launched 4 raids on the Taif region, in the Al-Durayhimi District, south of Hodeidah.

It was reported that another raid targeted the Al-Ta'iziyah District, in Taiz Governorate, southern Yemen.

On the other hand, units of the Special Forces of the Central Military District of the Ansar Allah group in Yemen carried out a military maneuver under the slogan “The Promised Day Maneuver.”

The maneuver simulated operations to confront enemy forces with the participation of a thousand fighters, and included firefights in different terrains.

The Minister of Defense in the Ansar Allah government confirmed that Yemen is capable of wresting its rights, and that he will impose new rules of engagement on the Americans, the British, and the Israelis, as he described it.

In solidarity with Gaza, which is facing a devastating Israeli war with American support, the Houthis are targeting Israeli or associated cargo ships in the Red Sea with missiles and drones.

Since the beginning of this year, a US-led coalition has launched raids that it says target Houthi sites in various regions of Yemen, in response to its attacks in the Red Sea, which was met with a response from the group from time to time.

With the intervention of Washington and London and the tension taking an escalating turn in January, the Houthi group announced that it now considered all American and British ships among its military targets.
