The protest called on those eligible to vote to vote at polling stations in Russia and at Russian embassies abroad at 12 p.m.

This is intended to symbolize the widespread non-recognition of the presidential elections in Russia.

Many voters in Berlin have already been queuing for hours and are overwhelmed by the large turnout this Sunday.

Few expect to be able to cast their vote today.
