Negotiations between Israel and the Islamic organization Hamas to halt fighting are expected to resume as early as the 17th, but in Israel, families of hostages held by Hamas are holding demonstrations against the Netanyahu administration. We called for an early negotiation agreement.

Negotiations between Israel and Hamas regarding a cessation of fighting and the release of hostages had been suspended due to the rift between the two sides being resolved, but multiple Western media reported that the head of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and others would be in attendance as early as the 17th. It is reported that it is expected to be resumed in Qatar in the Middle East.

According to Reuters, the plan Hamas has proposed so far is to release 700 to 1,000 Palestinians imprisoned by Israel in exchange for Hamas releasing women and elderly hostages. After that, both sides will agree on a cease-fire schedule and proceed with the release of more hostages.

Against this backdrop, in Tel Aviv, Israel's largest commercial city, families of hostages held by Hamas held a demonstration on the 16th against the Netanyahu administration, demanding an early negotiation agreement.

The demonstration caused a commotion at one point, with some participants entering the roadway and holding up placards calling for the release of the hostages.

A family member of one of the hostages said, ``We hope that all the hostages will be released. We hope that the Israeli government will agree to Hamas' proposal.''
