Especially on the Republic of Serbia, which has centuries-old close relations with Russia,” he said.

Janjic noted that Serbs and Russians have common roots and the same spiritual foundation.

“Through the centuries, Serbia has maintained close relations with Russia and it is important for it that Russia develops in the world and fights for the ideals for which it has defined itself,” he said.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Commission on Elections, Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Ivanov, in a conversation with RT, said that about 250 thousand people voted abroad in the Russian presidential elections.
