The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 31,645 martyrs after the Israeli occupation army committed nine massacres in the Strip during the last 24 hours, killing 92 martyrs.

According to the Ministry, the occupation attacks during the past hours resulted in 130 injured, bringing the total number of injured since the beginning of the aggression on October 7 to 73,676 injured.

The people of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip mourned the bodies of 12 martyrs - including women and children - from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city. The martyrs were among the victims of a bombing carried out by Israeli occupation aircraft at dawn on Sunday that targeted a house belonging to the Thabet family and housing displaced people in central Deir al-Balah.

Local media confirmed that the occupation raids targeted - since dawn on Sunday - the southern areas of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with others that targeted northeast of Rafah.

She added that Israeli aircraft bombed areas west of Gaza City in the central Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces also bombed the homes of the Al-Nunu, Judah, Awad, and Al-Helu families, west of Gaza City. The bombing resulted in the destruction of neighboring homes and a number of casualties.

Shooting down an Israeli drone

On the other hand, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced the downing of an Israeli drone while it was carrying out intelligence missions east of Gaza City.

Al Jazeera obtained pictures of the clashes between the Al-Qassam Brigades and the occupation army in the city of Al-Zahra in the central Gaza Strip. The pictures - obtained by Al-Jazeera - show Al-Qassam fighters targeting military vehicles in the Al-Zahra area closest to the road that the occupation built in the center of the Strip.

For its part, the Israeli army announced that a soldier from the 601st Combat Engineering Battalion was seriously injured during the battles taking place in the central Gaza Strip last Friday, noting that the soldier was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment.

Thus, the number of casualties of the occupation army since the beginning of its aggression against Gaza rose to 3,079, while 591 soldiers from its forces were killed.

Although Ramadan has entered its seventh day, Israel continues its devastating war on the Gaza Strip, causing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, massive destruction of infrastructure and property, and the displacement of about two million Palestinians out of about 2.2 million in Gaza, according to Palestinian and UN data.

The war also caused famine in some areas of the Gaza Strip - especially in the north - due to the severe scarcity of food, water, medicine and fuel supplies in the Gaza Strip, which has been besieged by Israel for 17 years.
