A few weeks after the mobilization of farmers, part of the aid promised by the State has still not arrived.

This is particularly the case for organic producers in Pays de la Loire, some of whom are in serious financial difficulties.

Europe 1 went to meet them.

The Élysée stands up to the FNSEA.

The executive postpones a meeting which was to take place on Tuesday with the main agricultural union, "unable to agree with the other organizations on four or five strong measures", according to the comments of the public authorities reported by the press.

“They show the gap between declarations and actions,” retorts the boss of the FNSEA.

Another sign of this gap: this promised aid which does not come.

Europe 1 went to meet organic producers from Pays de la Loire.

“Last month, we emptied the boxes so we have to find a solution before the end of the month,” worries Charles Chevalier, port breeder.

The solution had to come from aid for reconversion to organic farming.

However, in this joint farming group in Couffé, in Loire-Atlantique, shared by seven producers, we are still waiting for the help.

“We, for the seven people, are missing 65,000 euros, so we are really in a complete fog,” continues Charles Chevalier.

“If we cannot get a loan from the bank, we will no longer be able to buy food for our animals or collect salaries.”

“I have to take out a loan at 4.65%”

When he asks the question, Brice Guyot tirelessly receives the same answer: “The software is not yet ready,” he repeats.

A computer problem which plunges many farmers into the red, including this farmer in Vendée.

"I am waiting for more than 12,000 euros. I am having difficulty paying the apprentice who is with me at the moment, which means that I am obliged to take out a loan at 4.65% rate to pay my suppliers . I kept the commitments. But behind that, the State's commitments did not arrive."

In Pays de la Loire, no less than 1,200 organic producers are waiting for this famous aid, or 12% of farmers in the region.
