The official representative of the Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, spoke about this.
“We continue negotiations with all parties so that trade continues, food supplies continue, and ships are safe,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
According to Dujarric, the main goal of the current UN efforts remains freedom of civil navigation.
“Food and trade routes must be secure, continuous and predictable,” he added.
Earlier, Erdogan discussed the grain deal and the security situation with Zelensky.
Later, the Turkish leader announced Turkey's readiness to host a peace summit on Ukraine.
Zelensky, in turn, opposed Erdogan’s idea to hold a summit with Russia’s participation.
