  • 'Influence' María Pombo: 'wash' on the Grammy carpet and other omissions in her documentary

  • El Hormiguero Dulceida and Alba, their second chance: "I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to forgive the harm we did to each other"

Almost everyone

attended the Goya for influencers - the Ídolo awards - except Salseologia

, an Instagram profile dedicated to highlighting content creators.

He describes LOC as social work: "I make people

develop a critical vision

about this profession."

A covert advertisement, a very repetitive story, a philia that becomes an obsession.

Salseologia takes a screenshot of what is criticizable and discusses it with his followers.

Some follow his grace.

Laura Escanes usually responds

to his comments, Dulceida (Aida Doménech) has also laughed at some joke ("Dulceida knows more about

sweet

than about

Eida

").

But not too much.

He is one of the unwelcome ones of the Idol awards.

And he doesn't understand it: "They didn't want to invite anyone who would give birth to the gala the next day. But I wouldn't mess with someone who invites me to their house."

It would have been the opportunity to show his face.

Salseologia followers see an entity they know from the neck down,

his face always appears pixelated

.

"At some point I will show my face, with money involved, of course," he admits to LOC.

The image that Salseologia transmits has little to do with what he really is.

Adrián is 29 years old and is from Santiago de Compostela.

He is sweet and

thinks every word he speaks

as if it were his last.

He doesn't leave the house much.

"It's raining a lot and it makes me lazy."

Salseologia comes from "salseo" and "philology", what he studied.

He conceived it with two college friends in a bar.

"We opened it in 2019 and

at first it was about Shakespeare memes

but it didn't make sense... So in 2021 I turned it around to what I do now."

He has now grown so much that he has an interview podcast on Podimo, Rajarxrajar.

Most of their haters are the influencers themselves.

Laura Matamoros did not take too kindly to my criticism that her social media content is not the epitome of quality.

"She told me '

why are you talking about content if all you do is republish things'

. And well... In the same way that they would not have content without people either. We all benefit from everything, she is where she is because she is the daughter who it is, not me," he defends himself.

Salseologia defines himself as a network artist.

"I do an Instagram essay."

Many started out hating him and have ended up, at least, tolerating him.

"

Violeta Magriñán had me blocked

and now she sometimes answers me things and I say 'oh, how cute'."

His most scathing criticism is of the mythical network phrase: "That 'you don't know the work behind it'... Honey, if you have to repeat it so much it's because there is something. There are

people who do work

and put in hours but also There are many people who don't and I expose it. I hate that they sell what they are not."

Like humility: "These are about good people, about 'I'm just like you'... No, honey, you're a son of a bitch."

-Have you ever wondered if there is some envy in your criticism?

-I'm not envious that you announce Oral B and have to tell your life story to get likes.

I'm envious of great profiles who make a living by communicating, like Victoria Martín or Inés Hernand.

MARÍA POMBO VS DULCEIDA

But this gala

has had major absences, such as María Pombo

, who coincidentally, and for the second year, has gone on a trip on the date of the Ídolo, the awards created and organized by Aida Doménech.

For Salseologia this is the definitive blow between the two largest influencers in Spain.

"This is going to mark a before and after in their relationship... and they should stop falsifying their friendship."

They are not friends, although Aida - after María did not attend last year's awards - did attend Suavefest, the event created by the Madrid influencer.

"María does not go because she is not her 'thing'," Salseologia explains.

Neither Marta Lozano, nor Teresa Andrés, nor Tomás Páramo, nor María García de Jaime attended (all from María Pombo's group) and these absences, according to Salseologia, do not benefit anyone.

"

The influencers themselves are ruining the awards

. All they do is take away credibility and power."

- What if you became an influencer?

Are you afraid that one day you will be everything you criticize?

- Yes, I have never done advertising.

They proposed one to me to which I said yes but then it never happened, that's when I thought... that I could be falling into what I hate.

But no, I am very clear: I want to do projects, not advertising.
