According to investigators, she tried to pour a solution of green paint and kerosene into a ballot box.
The suspect’s actions were stopped; she did not have time to spoil the ballots.
Earlier, the head of the Russian State Duma Security Committee, Vasily Piskarev, said that arson and similar actions at polling stations could be classified as sabotage or terrorist attacks.
On March 16, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia, Ella Pamfilova, said that attempts to spoil ballot boxes, as well as the ballots in them, occurred in 20 regions of the country at 29 polling stations.
