  • Girl Power Geri Halliwell, the redhead of the Spice Girls, surprises her fans and reinvents herself as a writer

  • Formula 1 Geri Halliwell devastated after learning of the accusations against her husband, Christian Horner

It might be a penis.

Or it could be a finger.

The image is so blurred that it is difficult to conclude what the British Christian Horner, head of racing for the Red Bull team,

allegedly sent via WhatsApp to one of his assistants.

The scandal is such that it not only threatens to blow up the most powerful team in Formula 1, but also to

destroy Horner's marriage to Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell,

and even to ruin the tour that the unforgettable ones - for the better. or worse - Spice Girls planned for their thirtieth anniversary.

The case has its origins in an independent investigation into Horner and his contacts with a woman, a Red Bull employee, with whom he would have had what is today politely called an inappropriate relationship.

That is,

messages with images of virile members, requests for photos in underwear,

onanist allusions and other niceties.

As is often the case in these circumstances, Horner vehemently denied all accusations and, by the end of February, it seemed that he would be cleared of guilt.

"The investigation has been completed and Red Bull can confirm that the complaint has been dismissed.

The complainant has the right to appeal," the team reported in a sober press release.

The next day, however, the fire was reignited even more strongly after the leak of 79 screenshots to 149 key actors in the world of Formula 1, from managers to the media, including the Spanish sports newspaper

Marca

.

Horner reacted

by stressing that he "would not comment on anonymous speculation."

Although their veracity is not confirmed, the content of the documents is not wasted.

Perhaps overexcited by an excess of taurine,

a key ingredient in Red Bull energy drinks (which, contrary to legend, does not come from the bull's testicles), Horner, if it is really him, suggests masturbating on the phone or, using a very familiar analogy, "get to Q3 (the last practice session, only for the fastest cars)."

She stops him: from

"You want to call and have me listen or talk just so you explode.

It's basically like calling a porn line" to "Think about what Geri would say if she read this. No more flirting."

Who is behind the leak?

Many eyes point to the Dutchman Jos Verstappen, father of the almost invincible Max Verstappen, current world champion and undisputed Red Bull star driver.

Jos, a former pilot who educated his son, even with slaps, to achieve the triumphs that he could not achieve,

denies it, but demands Horner's head.

"The team is in danger of completely disintegrating," he told the

Daily Mail

.

"He can't go on like this. He's going to explode. He plays the victim, but he's the one causing all the problems. I sympathize with the woman. It

's too late to set a limit, as he asks. I don't think it's possible." .

Geri, at least in front of the gallery, remains by her husband's side.

She accompanied him last weekend, dressed in Gucci, to the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix and the previous one, to the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Although here, holding hands as they walked through the Red Bull paddock, she looked more like someone on her way to the scaffold than a woman still in love with her husband.

"Red-eyed, emaciated and rather decomposed," the

Daily Mail

ruled .

Humiliation is another common term these days in the British media to refer to Geri, 51, who has been married to Horner, 50, for nine years. They have a common son, Montague, born in 2017.

So the reaction of solidarity from the rest of the Spice Girls is not surprising.

"I feel sorry for her and I feel sad, but she knows that she has the rest of us, that we are with her," Melanie Brown told the

Daily Mirror

.

"I don't know the details of the case, but it's horrible to see your friend going through a really hard time.

That's why you want to protect her, no matter what happens."

"All you can do is be there, just like the girls have been there for me;

all I can do is be there for Geri,"

he added.

"God, we support each other so much, we would literally take a bullet for each other."

At the moment, the Spice Girls' tour project is completely paralyzed due to the scandal.

The humiliated Geri, says the

Daily Mail,

is in no way fit to get on stage to sing and dance in front of tens of thousands of people.
