“

Two people died, a man and a woman

,” Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram, adding that eight rockets had been shot down.

He said the man died when his truck was hit, and the woman was killed at a parking lot.

The latter's son was seriously injured and doctors are “

fighting for his life

”.

Two other people were injured.

Due to these attacks, Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that shopping centers would remain closed for two days, as would schools.

Primary and higher education establishments are entitled to a few “

days off

”.

No classes will take place on Monday and Tuesday in Belgorod and eight districts of the region, the governor explained in a video posted on his social networks.

“

We will call all the parents, and if there is a possibility, we will ask them to arrange for the children to stay at home for a few days, Monday, Tuesday.
If they don't have this possibility, if they work in critical sectors, we will help them.
It is obvious that teachers and technical agents are worried.
The situation is quite delicate.
