The Israeli occupation army committed 7 massacres in the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours, leaving 63 martyrs and 112 injured, while the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said it killed 4 Israeli soldiers and targeted tanks and a troop carrier in the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the total number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza since last October 7 rose to 31,553 martyrs, and the wounded to 73,546.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 7 Palestinians were martyred and 10 others were injured in an Israeli bombing on the house of the Mutair family in the new camp in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip. The bombing led to the complete destruction of the house.

Despite the massacres, Israeli warplanes continued to launch a series of raids north of the Nuseirat camp.

For its part, the government media office in Gaza reported that 36 martyrs, most of them children and women, were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house belonging to the Tabatibi family in the new camp in the center of the Nuseirat camp at dawn on Saturday.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the search is still underway to recover missing people under the rubble.

The funeral of the martyrs took place today at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and their bodies were laid out in the hospital courtyard, including the bodies of a large number of women and children who were martyred in this bombing.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that two martyrs and one wounded were also killed in an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The reporter also said that Israeli occupation army artillery targeted areas northeast of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The reporter added that the occupation forces withdrew from the north of Hamad Town in Khan Yunis under cover of intense artillery shelling, which led to the injury of many Palestinians in the city, but the occupation army confirmed the continuation of its military operations in Khan Yunis.

On the other hand, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it killed 4 Israeli soldiers and targeted tanks and a troop carrier in the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also announced the killing and wounding of a number of soldiers in the Central Governorate.

Sirens also sounded in the Nahal Oz settlement northeast of the Gaza Strip, according to an Al Jazeera correspondent, while the Quds News Network quoted Israeli sources as saying that the settlement was targeted by missiles.

Thousands under the rubble

In the same context, the Washington Post quoted the emergency spokesman for the Gaza Civil Defense, Mahmoud Basal, as saying that estimates indicate that there are 8,000 bodies still under the rubble in the Strip.

He added that civil defense teams rarely find complete bodies, but rather the remains of bodies, most of which are decomposed and cannot be identified.

He stated that civil defense agencies receive appeals from families to search for missing persons every time the Israeli army enters an area in Gaza.
